Pompeu Casanovas is Research Professor at La Trobe University and Key Researcher of the Australian CRC Data to Decisions and in several EU H2020 Projects. He is also Director of Advanced Research at Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and founder and Head of the UAB Institute of Law and Technology (IDT-UAB). He has served as PI in many projects and has been member of several scientific steering committees and senior advisory boards. He has published widely in the areas of legal philosophy, legal sociology, intellectual history, pragmatics, the Semantic Web, and Artificial Intelligence & Law. He is General Editor of Law in Context (La Trobe) and co-Editor of Law, Governance and Technology Series (LGTS, Springer), Journal of Open Access to Law (JOAL, Cornell Univ.), and Journal of Catalan Intellectual History (de Gruyter Open, Sciendo). His last book, with Marta Poblet and Víctor Rodríguez-Doncel is Linked Democracy (Springer Briefs, 2019).
